Blood issu solved?

i read today in an economic newspaper that one company named sangart from san diego have solvd the problem to do syntetich blood, the take out fraktions from red bloodsells, as i understand the part how is related to oxigen, the produkt will be on the market inn about 2 year, this must bee very good news fore jw all over the word, so hopfully this problem soon is behind us.. some one here who now more about this?

Out of the mist

i am inactive but not exactly a non jw yet.
i am a conservative person and still believe that some of the teachings of jws are good though i do not agree with everything that's for sure!

after 9 years, the 14th is my final day working for the military (active duty army, then civil service job).
my husband resigned from the marines and is currently working in management and so we?ll be moving to a new location nov. 19th

i haven't got time to go through the 1,000,000 hits you get when you punch in jehovah on the google search.. so are there other jw sites or xjw sites you like and find helpful ???.

None of these Artificial Hemoglobin Carriers are approved here, yet. There are still lots of problems with them, so that a regular blood transfusion is still a safer alternative.
Whatever company that comes up with an acceptable product will make enormous profits, which is why they are still willing to pour money into research. I would guess that military uses will be far higher and create more profit for the developer than JW uses..
But the craziest thing, is that most of these products are derived from old human blood or cow blood. There is no logic to the Watchtower approving these artificial blood derived products when normal human blood is refused on the basis of "abstain from blood".
As a "normal" never JW person, I am appalled that anyone would sacrifice their loved one's life or their own life to such a twisted policy.

I am not JW. When I started looking into JW culture that was one of the first things I noticed. I was really surprised. Certainly, at least some of the very few JWs I know in real life are extremely interested in and judgmental about other people's sexual behaviour. JWs are extremely obsessed with sex.
When I read the "Young People Ask" book, I was really surprised how much of it has to do with making normal sexual behavior and feelings appear bad and unhealthy. No wonder JWs get so warped and guilty about normal things.

Mark of the Beast

she had asked me to do some research on it, and when i told her that i had finished researching it and discovered that the greek word "mark" was "an etching", she got very defensive and asked me what "mark" meant in hebrew.
i told her that it didn't matter what it meant in hebrew, because the context in which it is used in revelation is written in greek.

No kidding, Valis. If the consequences of this cult's control were not so serious, it would be funny. In any case, it is most certainly absurd. It's so true how the WT gets away with sweeping things under the rug with the use of "New Light". It's a testament to to the power of mind control/cult control that this change is accepted without question. I find it frightening.

That is interesting, complete and total hogwash. You mean people really believe that stuff?
Would that article be removed from the CDs because the WT is embarrassed by it now? If they make it hard to find, they can pretend doesn't exist and they never said it?
